The Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan On measures for further improvement of activity of farmer bazaars and trade No PP-1326 of 26 April 2010 has resolved: (1) to introduce from 1 June 2010 an automated system of collection of commercial charges and lease (rental) payment from traders at all trading centers with over 100 sales outlets; (2) to arrange from 1 July 2010 at all farmers’ bazaars laboratories of rapid analysis of the quality of agricultural products and to prohibit sale of non-certified products; (3) sales outlets could be allocated to individuals registered as individual entrepreneurs or those who sell self-grown produce; (4) from 1 July 2010 all sales outlets, car parkings, other units of collecting payments from public, including payment for utilities, for phone services or for commercial charges and lease (rental) payment from traders at farmer bazaars shall be made exclusively through cash registers.
